VOLUNTEERS

The Garden seeks dedicated and creative adult volunteer facilitators to co-facilitate groups. No experience necessary! Facilitators work as a team to plan and lead activities, projects and games for small groups of grieving young children 5-13 years. Join us for a meaningful way to give back to your community.

The Garden meets at the Hampshire Regional YMCA in Northampton every other Sunday afternoon beginning October 19th and will run through May 2009. The monthly time commitment for volunteer facilitators is 9-11 hours--eight hours of which are spent directly on site.

New at The Garden:

The Garden has opened! Children ages 5-12 and their families are meeting on Sunday afternoons, and teens are meeting on Wednesday evenings. The next entry date for new families is coming up in March 14, 2010. If you or someone you know is interested in participating, please use the on-line contact form or give us a call!

THANK YOU to Larry Brotherton and David O’Neil of Beyond Landscape Contracting LLC who generously donated their service of re-doing the Memory Garden. We invite you to take a stroll through the garden and enjoy the new plantings and pathways.
