Our first "Walk to Remember" was held on June 3, 2000. It was a great day with more than 80 participants and over $6000 was raised.

Walkers and gathered at the Hampshire Regional YMCA and traveled to nearby Child's Park in Northampton. They came from far and wide and from all age groups, enjoying the beautiful weather the morning after a huge rainstorm hit the area. There were hugs, smiles and even a few tears as we circled the inner trail of pastoral and serene Child's Park.

The 2nd annual "Walk to Remember" was held on Saturday, May 19, 2001. It was a glorious day to gather and walk through beautiful Child's Park.

Garden family members, friends and community supporters alike, commented on the serene and peaceful stroll as we made our three loops around the park and returned to the Hampshire Regional YMCA, Northampton.

The 3rd annual "Walk to Remember" was held on Sunday, June 2, 2002. On this windy but glorious day, over 80 people gathered to walk and celebrate the merging of the garden with the Hampshire Regional YMCA. The Garden officially became a Y program and everyone is thrilled!

The events included face painting, games, music, pizza and a swim. Over $4,000 was raised with thanks to sponsors Ahearn Funeral Home, Florence Savings Bank, and Northampton Area Pediatrics.
