TEEN INFORMATION
The high school age Teen Group meets regularly to provide support to those who have experienced a significant loss--death of a mother, father, sister, brother or close friend. The Teen Group will meet on consecutive Sunday evenings beginning May 3rd. This is a closed group, pre-registration is required. For more information about future groups, please send us an email or use the contact form.
The goal of the group is to create a community where young people who are grieving can feel safe to talk about a difficult topic with others who understand what they are going through.
At The Garden
At The Garden, we know how important it is to not feel all alone, especially after the death of someone special. Meetings include rituals around loss, team-building activities, discussion and laughter. Keeping a connection with the person who died is encouraged. Relationships are often cultivated within the group and continue to thrive outside of our sessions together.
This is a unique group of teenagers who are ready to share their experiences in hopes of making the integration of their loss easier as well as helping and supporting their peers.
